Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to develop the web based self-directed injection learning program including 4 types of injection: IV, SC, TM, and ID.

Method: The injection program was made through the following three stages:1) program analysis; 2) program design; 3) program development.

Results: The injection program consisted of the introduction page, main contents pages, sample test pages, related links and bibliography, and bulletin hoard.

Conclusion: The Web based self-directed injection learning program would he the most effective self-learning method for clinical nurses, doctors, and students facing the increscent clinical knowledges and skills with the rapidly changing health care environments. Further, future studies on the analysis and evaluation of this program were needed.
